I was going to access the new content from the Ebonlake so I took the boat and went to the Grymforge but before I took a single step forward I decided to go back and complete everything in the underdark. Once I was finished I decided to back and do the new stuff but I realized the boat was gone and I don't have the waypoint. So how do I get back in if I don't have either option? Please help I literally just finished everything to get here.
Ha, thank you for that warning. I will now go find the new Waypoint before i leave to do unfinished biz. Probably a waypoint directly near the point where boat is landing would help to autoactivate the waypoint. OR Setup another boat there to return with. This boat must be intelligent (code only) enough to understand that when you dont use it, that it goes back ot the other Beach. Or.. .. have boats allways be resettet after use. It wont be such a problem for me of having allways a boat at both ends of the waterroute. I dont care if it is nonlogical, therefore it should only be active after you at least once traveled to the Grymforge area.
If you want a really hacky version, then if you didn't save Barcus Wroot, he should be dead by the windmill in Blighted Village by the time you get to Grymforge. You can push his body to the Underdark through the Spider Lair. Then raise him with Glut, and he'll act like you saved him. Then both he, and the character he is attached to, will teleport to Grymforge. You can then go and find the waypoint.

Nice, this is some funny way to exploit abilities and spells to break the game. Good to know for future Speedruns, if pushing that body isnt taking too much timeeffort
What if there would be a way to make Glut beeing revived too, after having him killed and then takin him up to surfaceworld using his abilities. Reviving Arka to solve the puzzle why shes dead before the goblin camp, or just revive the whole Goblinparty who attacked the grove a start. Ahh, so many options. The possibillities would be endless, haha, great!.
I really hate to ruin this for you ... But as far as i know (and feel free to corect me), Myconid spores dont "ressurect", they only reanimate dead body and take full motoric control over it ... like puppet master.
Meaning you would not be able to talk with anyone you would revive this way. Also, im not quite sure if Myconids can withstand daylight? O_o
I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are!

While it's true that, within the logic of this game, you should not be able to talk to a spore servant, there are still a few exceptions. Most of these are cases where an NPC has a proximity dialogue which would have triggered if they had survived. You don't have to click on Barcus Wroot, after you save him, for him to talk to you. Likewise a dialogue starts automatically when he is raised as a spore servant. Ellyka has one if she gets killed by the Gith patrol. Mirkon has one killed by the Harpies, and gets raised twice. Under some conditions, Nere and Gekh Coal ask for a bribe when you raise them, or they attack you. Halsin has one if you raise him after betraying the Grove.
Also, if companions are made into spore servants, you can talk to them, though attempting to invite or dismiss them from the party breaks things severely.

Getting Glut to the surface used to require 10 steps of dialogue and fast travelling. They fixed that method, but now, it's so simple, I'm not even gonna say how its done. Except to say that, you don't need to kill him

Yeah ... Swen is obviously quite benevolent Dungeon Master who is not following rules by the letter, as long as people have fun.

I agree with those sentiments about Swen, but I don't think triggering proximity dialogues upon raising spore slaves is an example just letting people have fun. I think, at least for now, it still represents an oversight. A set of situations which haven't been well tested yet. That being said, I think to some extent, the exploits that Larian allows in their released games are due to testers not being quite a match for the ambition behind the complexity of systems they design.

I just wondered, why didnt you revive those poor souls in Ethels unground Galery. That other Headless poor Guy or the blind Elf-woman who didnt want to see her relatives anymore. What about the HAGs Pawns like Mask of Vengeance Guy, which is a very good asset btw. with his retaliatiing strikes everytime he gets attacked

Glut can't be dismissed after using the out of Underdark glitch, which means only one NPC can be raised outside of Underdark at a time. Gekh Coal starts in Underdark. I killed the Spider Matriarch by thunderwaving her down the hole. I pushed Mirkon down the spider lair hole all the way from the beach. So, Nere the only NPC in that pic raised outside of Underdark. There's no viable path corpses can take from Ethel's gallery to Underdark. As good as Vengeance guy may be he can't animate corpses like Gekh, coerce an NPC to fight for me for 4 turns(every turn) like Nere, teleport every turn like the Matriarch, or completely ignore game rules to wreck shit like Mirkon.
