Hey, just a quick question, I have all settings on Ultra, when I go into the character screen my character looks like it's in 240p insane blur I can't make out any detail, this is also the case when I look at my characters just standing on the map reguarly.
In scenes where I've entered dialog it looks perfect, so crisp, it's only when I look closely at the normal character models either on the screen running around or in the character panel.
Any idea what the issue could be?

Disable FSR, it should fix your problem.

Hey Rhobar, just tried that but didn't seem to change it, really strange.
Everything else looks nice just my characters out of cutscenes are looking blurry.

Setting Sharpness to max and enabling Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) might help. Enabling FSR lowers Sharpness and disables CAS.

Some screenshots of the issue might help folks pin down possible solutions, if you can Saeger.

first time trying to link like this so I hope it worked, If you look at my character theres no detail, they're blurry and if you look at the map picture Lae'zel's face is a green smudge and the last picture is in a scene where everyone is looking perfect.

Are you on Vulkan or DX11? On Vulkan, it tends to be blurry on my end too. As well, try to turn off antialiasing. If it's still blurry, it means the resolution of the game doesn't match the native resolution of your screen.

Yep on Vulkan, I'll try change to DX11 and my antialiasing was all the way up so I'll remove that. Also it makes perfect sense that my monitor may be the issue, it's quite old. Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help The only antialiasing which doesn't make my eyes cry because of the blur is the SMAA. The others, I just can't stand them. So if it's sharp enough for you in DX11, maybe you can try to put it on SMAA.

What is your gpu and also your resolution and hrtz on you monitor? Those are factors. Depending on that you settings might be off. You might have to adjust the settings so that the game doesn't look blurry when playing.

An update to what I wrote. I started a new file and I noticed that it did in fact look blurry. When I checked the "depth of view" it was on "circular". I changed it to "none" and the game looked more clear. Maybe that can help you.
