Hi everyone, I was recently having a problem in which BG3 was not switching to my Egpu. I run it on mac through GOG. I checked both the "prefer egpu" box in BG3 settings and GOG settings, and I also went into the "video" settings menu in the game and switched to my Egpu and 2nd monitor display. Interestingly, the game would switch monitors, but Activity Monitor confirmed that it never actually switched GPUs, so my internal graphics card continued to be used, substantially limiting game performance. I found a solution here, which I confirmed worked (Activity Monitor showed the switch, and my game performance dramatically improved): https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/comments/jfye6u/the_bg3_game_on_steam_is_not_making_use_of_my/

A little confused about why this happened, since I hadn't had this problem in the past - maybe a new bug or a result of adaptations to new M1 chips? Anyway, just a heads up for anyone else who is facing a similar problem. Have fun!
