Commander Maz'ri?

I was just curious what happened to Commander Maz'ri. She was the leader of the Drow where the spectator is and now is gone, replaced by some drow-mage.

I've always thought that there would have been more to it like a quest or story, but now they just removed her and all you get from the mage who attacks you after you finish speaking with him is just a useless shard pointing in direction of the Adamantine Forge.The new plot feels kinda rushed and shallow.

Weirdest part for me is that he is a Man ...
Yet talks about himself as someone respected and important ... dont quite match up with Drows i know. O_o

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown
Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are! frown

You actually get a piece of a legendary staff as well.
And I do think you can get out of the conversation without killing him. Not 100% sure, as I insisted on getting that memory shard wink

Wizardry is, as far as I know, the main way Drow males are able to rise to status in mainstream Drow culture.

maybe they put her somewhere else for other quests in the future. We still have the ancient temple, moonrise tower, and blighted land areas in act 1.

And mountain pass ... and githyanki creche, wich will probably be part of one of previously named.

(Kinda puzzles me tho that "portal" next to Githyanki Patrol leads to Shadowcursed lands ... yet that "portal" next to south part of Goblin camp (aka the place Minthara sends you to) leads to "Moutnain pass" O_o ... i would expect it to be exactly other way around. laugh )
