Just finished the swamp, and I wanted to comment, not a huge fan of the Mayrina side quest. As a cleric, it seems clear that Mayrina needs some healing and financial help. There should be an option to get her some healing and give her some cash to do it. After all, you could give cash to the artist in the tunnel and he needed it far less than Marina, who is possibly unhinged, and pregnant.

I didn't feel right to send her off with her zombie husband, so I declined that..... And offering to pray for her is ineffectual.

There should be an option to do something positive for the woman as the humorous raise the dead husband just seemed kind of out of character.

Just my feedback.

Clerics largely don't have very good options in the game, and helping and caring for sick people is part of many good clerics creeds.

I had similar feedback some time ago. It's like you're just abandoning this stupid girl who really needs some serious psychological and emotional help. The best solution to the whole thing is to animate the dead body with the wand and let her walk off with it???

I wanted to at least offer to take her to the grove and help her get the coffin there, fade to black, we're in the Grove. "Someone here may help you get the body to Baldur's Gate or wherever you're going. Here's some money to help you and your child. Just promise you won't seek a hag again."

Oh, and I wanted to be able to convince her that the hag was going to trick her and gobble up her baby in the end and turn her into a vile hag baby. I even questioned the corpse in front of her, but Mayrina was still convinced I was evil for saving her. Made no sense. We should be able to convince her that she messed up but if she is strong, she can raise Connor's baby well and be a good mother.

+1 as well. I'd love to offer her money to take body for burial, or show he the horrors in

Ethel's cave

to convince her she'd been deceived.

That there's no option that doesn't involve angering her or sending her home with a revenant is appalling. And companion reactions to these choices are disappointing

I agree that there should be an option to give Maynira some help either through giving gold or taking her to the druid grove. The "thoughts and prayers" response seems a bit callous.

+1 I agree. When running a "good", or even a less morally dubious character, there should be an option to truely heip her. I love the idea of her going back to the grove and joining the teifling troupe.

I think Marina could perhaps use Netties help. I like the idea of starting a new life on the road after with the tieflings.

I am surprised no way to mention to Halsin that he’s been sheltering a hag in the grove. The twisted magic used by Ethel in the swamp is against nature and the druids should deal with that.
