Hi!
I encounter an issue that some might find troublesome.
I was trying to disarm trap with Mage Hand. I was using Arcane Trickster Rogue Mage Hand.
If Dice Roll window is open, and time for Mage Hand runs out and Mage Hand Disappears, the Dice Window gets STUCK.
The Whole Game gets STUCK. ESC key on keyboard doesn't even do anything.
I can click, and game makes noise like it tells me "no" when I click dice to roll ... since Mage Hand is not there any more, so it's not a super hard lock up. Music is still playing, and game is idle in background ... waiting for Dice Roll to happen, but, Dice Roll won't happen because Mage Hand disappeared, and I do not see option to cancel out of window.
ESC doesn't even work.
... so, only thing I can do is ALT+Tab and then End Task on game from Control Panel, and start back from most recent save.
... so, I guess don't use Mage Hand to do anything that needs a dice roll?
That's biggest problem I have ever find. :P
Edit: I think i have idea for work-around. If i only use Rogue Mage Hand in turn-based mode to do Dice Roll skill checks, Mage Hand will probably not disappear, and leave Dice Roll box open and stuck there.
A permanent fix by Larian could maybe pause timer lifetime on Mage Hand when dice box is triggered? ... or maybe just make Mage Hand a "forever" concentration spell that stays without any timer on it, like invisibility spell or some others, and only goes away when character breaks concentration? ... or put option to cancel out from Dice Roll box so, if Mage Hand runs out of time and disappears, then the Dice Roll box can at least be cancelled and game play continued? I dunno. I make suggestions. Larian might Maybe have better solutions to fix this.
