Is this a spear or a ring, has weight twice?

I've met alot of those in the game..think it's a wrong labeled item!

It's a spear. If you pick it up, it will probably go into your weapons inventory.

Are you running the latst patch? That should solve a lot of these problems...

No it shouldn't. This is a 1.44 patch problem sadly.... You can find regular bone spears in the normal game, but in the battlefields (of act2), it messes up.

That's weird, Tovi! I know 1.43 sorted the problem out - at least in the normal game! Has 1.44 made it worse again?

You completed the game on 1.43? But I thought that version had some serious bugs? Save game corruption and all that...

There were serious problems with the Battlefields in the later parts of the game, but I had grown bored with them by then and didn't use them. As long as you stay out of the Battlefields there are no problems with 1.43 - or at least none that I found <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I have read on the forum that the Battlefields in Act Three are impossible to escape from in 1.43, which would certainly be a pain to anyone using them.

Yup, using patch 1.44. I tried to equip it but it would not go anywhere. I hope they fix this in the next patch.

I've seen Bone Spear rings since v1.41. I've actually been able to equip one and it takes up a ring slot. The only thing on the character that changes with it equipped are the Speed, Initiative, and Accuracy penalties from what I've seen. Otherwise, it's just a comical (IMO) bug <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

At least they are worth a few coins
