Rather odd. I never had any trouble sharpening that weapon, and i also have the 1.44 patch.

I've got the deathknight claw aswell, and I've sharpened it several times (level 1 through 4), and it worked fine. I've got 1.44 too.

Did you upgrade your version from another version perhaps? Not that it should matter, but certain versions like version 1.41 had a possible nasty side-effect on your savegames.

Never mind. I was running patch 1.43. Duh!
