@Pinkrose, you still on FAT32 (W7/8) files or are they downloading as such and all you then need to do is reset your W10/11 as it is corrupt? Pain in the arse I know but I had this issue till total reset with W10 due to crap left over from 8.1? When reset delete old version of windows too in case one day your ssd or hd decides "You know what!"..The healthiest thing you can do for a pc apart from clean it out once a month is a reset at least every 6 months

We have a saying amongst PC users, Look after your PC ,and That's what I've done and I've maintained it for 20 years, this old PC has had 17 new Cards and 14 new Boards in it's time and it's still the same PC
