Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems M1 Mac Immediate Crash To Desktop Patch 6

So I've been waiting for the M1 release of Patch 6 which was released in the last few days. I was able to play fine with Patch 5 but now I get an immediate crash to desktop with this error:

I've tried trashing that directory, which prompts Steam to be reinstalled, with no luck. I also removed the game and reinstalled and still no luck. After the launcher prompts me to sign into my account, I skip go to the Larian Studios animation for 2 - 3 seconds, then insta-crash.

Any clues?

macOS 12.0.1

OK I actually got the game to launch by Double Clicking Baldur's Gate 3 under Steam/common

It will not work launching from the Steam Library though.
