It's just like that story about cola. That you would loose your teeth if you drink to much. To much being the mediteranian sea - a day. These days everything is poluted in one way or another. air, groundwater,... It gets into everything. But it has been like that the whole industrial age. There's no need to panic. Read a box of Rice a roni, you wouldn't eat it ever again! Take the time to cook real food, it takes longer, but your body will be the happier for it.
