It's A bolo.

It's an old south-american weapon. Kinda like a multiple lasso/whip with balls on the ends.
Originally used to catch cattle -and other animals. But being invented by humans... it turned into a weapon fast.
Some expert indians can snatch a straw from between your fingers with it.

Ebola hemorrhagic fever (Ebola HF) is a severe, often-fatal disease in humans and nonhuman primates (monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees) that has appeared sporadically since its initial recognition in 1976.

The disease is caused by infection with Ebola virus, named after a river in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire) in Africa, where it was first recognized. The virus is one of two members of a family of RNA viruses called the Filoviridae. There are four identified subtypes of Ebola virus. Three of the four have caused disease in humans: Ebola-Zaire, Ebola-Sudan, and Ebola-Ivory Coast. The fourth, Ebola-Reston, has caused disease in nonhuman primates, but not in humans.

Bolo is a multiplayer tank game originally released on the Mac. Ive tried it but wasnt all that impressed (Dying all the time will do that). There are versions out for windows now so that you can play it on your PC.

(I figured someone should give a sensible answer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />)

I thought Bolo was an Arkenoid style game, only heavily modified (and not bad for a change). It was by Dongleware who also made the great game Oxyd. But they've stopped making games and now only do web design, so I haven't got any links.

EDIT: Found a download link, at least: http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=3313
