Yep, you're really yellow. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I didn't say it differ from what you said. I only said what I said.

The biggest part of the net is 50 years old. Those are not my words, but they come from a former minister who claimed he warned about this a long time ago. I just checked, the item is not on the news anymore and I didn't cared enough to remember his name.

It did hold up...
More or less. The powercuts and problems in Ca are known by everyone.
And their have been "minor" problems all over the USA regularly.

On the news right now. Origin of the problem: Ohio!

Very simple. A nation to busy being to big for the world to care about there own inhabitants has left the powersupply in the hands of companies who care more about quantity than quality. Problem... the net they bought long ago couldn't handle the quantity. Becouse they never cared to update and modernise. That would just cut their profits.
The numbers about Americans needing about 30% more elictricity now than 50 years ago, while the net could handle only a 15% increase max. are also in the news.
No fiction. It was bound to happen. Just a matter of time.
The good thing about it... it woke ppl up. Those companies will have to modernise now. Bush said so. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
And to save his face he might be able to find a way to blame it on muslim terrorists instead of blaming canadians for it.
