I have found that a good way to kill a lot of characters is to use the polymorph skill. Turn them into frogs, etc and you can kill them easily. This does not work on Josephina though.

Oh, it does work on her - if you curse her. Her spiritual resistance is no longer 100 then. I tried it at the endarea of the game - where did you?

But polymorph has a bug if you use versions below 1.34.

I meant I tried it on her to no avail. It does not work by itself. I used shadows and the special swirl move.

Voilá, Josie-Frog <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - and you get the staff, the 3rd elven item. In version 1.34, of course.
