Minsc was the only male I had all the time. I needed Keldorn for a while, but I didn't mind him returning to his family - and as for the traitor... no emotions for him either. In fact I mourned just like Jaheira for dead Khalid throughout the game and for Dynaheir, though Minsc took Aerie as his new witch.
Hmmm... myparty was:
My main character
Anomen (yes he was irritating, but he could sure kick [nocando]!)
Minsc (with the Lilarcor, of course)
Keldorn (though my main character was already a Paladin, Keldorn's True Sight and Dispel Magic were invaluable)
Imoen (for thieving and magery)
Aerie (for heavy artillery)
So the only one I kept from BG was actually Minsc. I never liked Jaheira, both from a role-playing standpoint and from a game-point of view. I didn't mind Khalid dying (such a whiner), and I never used Dynaheir much, so no worries there.
