Hi playingdivine,

Repost from Planetdivinity Walkthrough: (Harvest Disaster and Dr. Elrath)

Quest: Who is responsible for the Harvest Disaster?
Solution: The Dellabaere family in the farmlands are in trouble. Their harvest is failing, but nobody knows why. Hugh Dellabaere suspects that somebody has poisoned their cornfields. That "somebody" is an orc who dwells in a cave SW of the farmlands. Kill the orc, pick up the key he drops and report back to the Dellabaeres.

Quest: An orc is the perpetrator
Solution: It appears an Orc named Tipsix was poisoning the harvest. When you killed him he dropped a key. You ought to report this to Hugh Dellabaere. -- This quest is a subquest of the "Who is responsible for the Harvest Disaster?" quest.

Quest: Where does this key fit?
Solution: Hugh asks you to find the lock on which the key you found on Tipsix' body fits. Go to the Blue Boar Inn. The key opens one of the rooms in the basement and you'll find a whole lot of more poison down there.

Quest: The key fits!
Solution: Tipsix' key (see quests above) opens a door in the Blue Boar Inn. The room is filled with more barrels of poison like the ones you found in that cave the Orc was hiding in. You should question the owner of the Inn why the poison is stored in his cellar.

Quest: The cellar was rented to Dr. Elrath
Solution: (See quests above) - It seems like the cellar was rented to a Dr. Elrath who you can find in the Merchants' Area.

Quest: Dr. Elrath's key was stolen.
Solution: (See quests above) - Dr. Elrath's claims his key to the cellar was stolen. You don't know whether to believe him or not... - Go to Dr. Elrath's house in the merchants' area and find a way into his basement by turning on/off the unusual lamps. There is evidence galore down there. Don't forget to take the potions from his cellar with you.

Quest: Dr. Elrath is a fake!
Solution: (See quests above) - After exposing our 'good' doctor as the perpetrator who was causing the plague in Rivertown you can now be quite sure he was also behind the poisoning of the harvest in the farmlands.

Quest: Dr. Elrath exposed!
Solution: (See quests above) - You find a letter in Dr. Elrath's cellar. In it is evidence that this so-called doctor is responsible for the Grey Death epidemic while everybody believed the doctor was the only person that could cure them! You must report this to the authorities. Go to Commander Ralph and expose Dr. Elrath. This will also get you an invitation to Stormfist Castle.

Thanks. (I'll post later on the other topics you mentioned)

Hi playingdivine,

Planetdivinity Walkthrough repost continued: (Talking Boar Transformation)

Quest: Evil transformation
Solution: A talking boar (you'll meet it at a crossing in the southern central part of the Dark Forest) is going to tell you an amazing, and disturbing tale. There is an evil mage who is transforming people into animals to make a profit selling them as meat. The house of this evil mage is supposed to lie to the south east. You're supposed to find a cure for this poor fellow.
Just head SE to find the house of the mage. Search for a picture with a secret passage hidden behind it.

Quest: Kill Boratus and find a cure for his animals
Solution: Talk to the animals in Boratus' cellar. Boratus himself is going to appear as soon as you open one of the cells. Be careful. The snake is not very grateful. It's going to attack you.
Kill Boratus, pick up the key he drops and open the nearby chest. It contains a manuscript with information about a possible cure.

Quest: Find the Dwarven Priest
Solution: A clue found in the laboratory of Boratus hints at a possible way to undo his transformations. If you can find a dwarven priest, he might have access to some holy water that could reverse the polymorphications.
The Dwarven priest can be found -surprise - in the Dwarven Halls.

Quest: Find the Grail
Solution: The Dwarven priest is going to agree to give you the holy water but you will first have to find a holy grail to hold the water.
The holy grail is in a cave in the SW corner of the Dark Forest map (near the abandoned Imp fortress). Once there, you have to fight your way through to the grail chamber.

Be careful now. A whole army of mummies is going to appear upon touching the grail. The quick & easy way to deal with them is to make a run for the exit. But you can also choose to fight them. I haven't tried beating them with any other character except for my female wizard yet but I imagine that the warrior (and his special move) is best suited to defeat them all.
My advice for wizards: Use meteor shower to kill the mummies. Just fire away in rapid succession so that the mummies can't heal themselves. You will quickly be surrounded by the mummies if you stay in one place. Use your special ability to swap places with a target on the outside and keep moving to tear the crowd apart. It's going to take a while until all mummies are dead and you should carry tons of mana potions with you. Good luck .

After you have retrieved the grail, you should simply go back to the Dwarven priest and let him fill the grail with the holy water. Now go back to the Dark Forest and enter Boratus' cellar to cure the animals. The cow will change back into an elf. She says that her father in the Elven village is going to reward you for saving her. Make sure to visit her father once you get to the village. You'll receive a real nice bow.
Last but not least, find back the yellow boar which originally sent you to Boratus' house. The boar is still near the crossing where you first met it. I won't spoil this part of the quest. Just see for yourself what the boar has to say... .

(Duke's murderer):
You'll receive this quest by commander Ralph. Go contact Sir Dante in Verdistis. Sir Dante will then ask you to speak to Yarun. Once you've chased Yarun down, he should be here . Yarun will tell you to meet Cybu, the Duke's murderer in an abandoned area of Verdistis. Next, talk to Commander Ralph and then proceed to the abandoned area. Cybu will be killed and you'll receive another invitation to Stormfist Castle. Once you escape Iona's dungeon, you'll also see a castle. Inside lies the ghost of the duke. After unlocking the door, you should be able to allow the duke to rest in peace once you've told him how he was killed.

Thanks.
