Well yes there is a new treatment. The insulin is now in a form that you can inhale through the mouth. So no more shots. It has been tested and it works all that they are waiting for is for it to be massed produced. Well the shots are damm sore so I am glad that this is being introduced. There is also another way. It is an insulin pump that they plant inside you that provides you with the insulin. You dont have to worry about how much insulin you are injecting.The pump calculates your sugar levels then it releases insulin into your system. So the technology is getting better every single day. I am still on my injections becuase all this stuff isn't available in South Africa yet. So i'm hoping for the best <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Yep, I knew about the respirator. It was the pump I heared of but couldn't remember.
It's about time they made some serious work of diabetes treatments.
