My cats are called:
the mother cat: "mamapoes" means mothercat in dutch.
the female kitten: "naomi" (because she's so thin and complete black)
the male kitten: "BA (barracus)" (Because he's so fat and complete black)

But I've got a question. How do you get rid of cats(prepars to get flamed).My neighbors cat comes to our house every night and isn't very friendly towards the 5 little chickens of a week old (lucky theire the mother chickand the rooster to scare the cat off). Now I fear for the little chicks lives <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />. Is theire any way to discourage the cat to go near the henhouse (reppelent spray or something, nothing lethal offcourse). It would really help.

surround the henhouse with upside down carpet runner stuff. you know, those big sheets of plastic that you put under your desk chair if it's on a carpet... if you put it spiky side up they won't walk on it. i've also heard they won't walk on orange plastic fencing, the temporary kind they have at cunstruction sites.

Cats HATE vinagar...spary that around.

When one comes along, have a bucket of water by hand and soak the cat, Cats hate water and soon they'll see coming in your garden means getting wet.

lol, I got my cats one of those hand held laser's and they go crazy over them, just chasing them for like hours

my female kitten is running around, between, under and on me right now, love the attention, hate the claws.
