NO!!!!!! DO NOT USE CLUMPING CAT LITTER!!!!!
There is a chemical in it that can make some cats (not all) very sick, to the piont of death. The chemical gets stuck in their fur (especially long haired) and then when they clean themselves - they ingest it.
Faile - i would ask you SPCA what they think...but for donations to min e - they will NOT accept clumping cat litter. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> I hope this helps...i really would stay away from anything that is not natural (same reason you do not eat beef right - not natural anymore)
Oh - and the more expensive the food - the softer hsi coat will be.
However, Iams has been bought by procter and gamble, and now has tons of fillers in it. My kitties get techni-cal.
