For real?

I still get a flashing *new* gif.file.

ISP?
We (Viper and I) are both in Europe.

I had to visit www.gamershell.com before it would work. It might be a cookie thing.

In the old forum, we had candle on and off, that was very clear. But that doesn't fit to this current design of the forum. Will think about something better than these bulbs, unless you guys come up with a cool idea
Indeed, changing the colors of the bulbs won't help that much, I think.

Would this minor change be easy?
I really have trouble with that yellow/ white identification.

I know, but it is much more polite to pretend that one does not know to give a chance for a polite refusal.
I only made a request to plead for mercy with the eyes of an old man.
I am grateful to Lynn for not being strongly harassed for asking for a change.

As far as it goes I like these the best. When colors are involved red/green, blue/red, blue/green,there are people out here that cannot tell the difference between these colors. I must admit that I do not know of any color blind gamers, but I am sure there are some out there. Food for thought...

No, why would I?

I like this, it’s clear and fits to the design.
Honestly, I never liked the bulbs myself, but remember that, a couple of months ago, we urgently had to change to a new forum: more space, better software. Then we quickly came up with these colors, and I like them. Of course, there’s always room for better, but time is not really at our side

Shall I go for this suggestion, mentioned here?

Yes please, thank you exceedingly.

And if nothing changed I shall have won your wise kindness.
Kindest regards.

Colour blindness is a genetic disorder that causes the precise colours of red and green to be confused and that is why driving licences are not issued to those who are colour-blind.
In my case it is intensity blindness, like when you look directly to the sun and burn your retina and see nothing for some minutes. This might be related to another illness called night-blindness where the patient looses sight temporarily when changing ambient illumination from strong to dim.

My case is neither this, nor that; it is simply caused by fatigue and in such a case all closely bright colours are indifferently recognised as high intensity light. The hue should help a lot to identify a difference but when it comes to very light yellow and white, the difference is quite marginal and requires very healthy eyes to know the difference. I hope this clears it up.

Please post your 13 x 13 pixels ingenious ideas, we are waiting but please try to make a constructive offer soon.
It seems that the orange square is quite consistent with the page design and indicative for blind people like me.
If you have any better ideas we would love it.
