How can you see not the big yellow light bulbs that were there all along the last three months?
If you can see them, then there are new messages.
Why do you need to see that there are no new messages?
If that second light bulb was completely removed, I would still realise that only the yellow bulbs mean that there are new messages.
If it is not a yes, then it is a no (at least in this case).
