Download and extract the crc files listed in the manual install post, then do a search and replace (in Wordpad, for example) so the listed path corresponds to where you installed Divinity. Then start FileCheck, switch to the Verify tab, browse to the edited crc file and hit the Verify button. Any difference between your files and mine will be displayed; zero byte or unreadable files are immediately suspicious, but those close in size are probably ok (there are some examples of valid file differences under the description in the manual install post).
If you got that far, check the list of crc errors for anything that stands out.
