I haven't played as a warrior (yet), but the most important aspect is to get your resistance up above 100, then no magic can toutch you (use charms.
I've finished the game, played as a mage, with the following stats
strength - 76
agility - 86
intellegence - 215+
const. - ??
(alot of these stat points was with the aid of charms)
You would probably need some more intelegence to give you more mana. (if you what to use the curse spells to the get the enemy's stats / resistance down)
It all depends on what you want character to be eg. pure warrior, battle mage, stealing warrior etc.
