I have a good friend (he is my collegue also) he is like your dad, 55-60 years old.
He worked in special police forces for his entire life, btw he was best sniper in Estonia and one among the best in USSR <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> (he retired and now works in our firm).
I haven't seen a person more addicted to games than he (only I am <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />).
Yes he plays CC (Red Alert mostly) and omg MOH Spearhead, everyday! I play will him often, lots of fun!

Right, as long as you like it. There are lots of people who don't like games, mostly because they don't understand games and even don't want to understand.
And as DQueene sayd they will always complain, say something like, games make kids stupid or deaf etc.
