What happened here? I didn't noticed a war going on because i usually mainly support the general or german parts of this forum (maybe i should ask Lynn). I've read the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> II- Topic now and it would be cool if somebody could give me some clearance about the situation now. Are there more war topics like those two? And Kiya seem to be gone? That's truly a pity, does anyone have her e-mail adress?

Ask Lynn; the '800x600' topic was deleted, I believe. Some of it started in the Vote topic in the Riftrunner forum. The content was similar to the Divinity II topic, from what I saw, though I did a lot of skimming/skipping over posts.

Ok, this is the way i see it.
Alot of these discussion started(imo) as a misinterpratation of what was writen by someone. Remeber written words are alot DIFRENT from spoken worth. When you say the same thing, you can hear what they mean (fe: joking). When it is written, you dont know. For one it can be seen as something bad, an attack and for another it is something stupied, for another it is a joke.

I'm just trying to say that written words are some of the most dangerous, because you dont know what the other one meant. So it can sometimes be handy to mention it. It can solve a lot of problems and even make sure thay dont happen.

I'm not taking any side here because frankly i dont think there is a side to be chosen. Everone, in one way or the other, is right.

Well, these are just some of my thoughts.

I now it may sound contadictory to things i said earlier. But the more i listen to all sides, the more i sounds like it all started as a misinterpration (like most of these things start) and just got a bit out of hand.

I do not want war, but I have my limits and DAD crossed them by hurting lots of my friends so no more sympathy for him from me.
I hope kiya comes back though..... I am puzzled though as to why he isn't banned. I surely wish to read the 800*600 thread so I have a bit more inside info

yes well, I guess you'll never know. Fight your battles with the people you were fighting with, I'm not gonna carry this on, I only wanted to stand up for my friends, but I'm to impulsive to do that in a diplomatic way

I have to admit that I do admire people who stand for their friends, but I thought that I was standing for you, Kiya, and the rest of this forum members when I sent that E-mail to “ToTheGame”.

Like I said that, i didn't follow those threads so I REALLY don't have enough info to be in this 'war'

very same thing happened at the end of the old forumsoftware, 1 person just had to have everyone agree with his side, I suggest DAD, you take your Debates elsewhere, newsgroups enough where your behaviour is the most common thing, pls leave this board at peace.

aye me wanders outside and couldn't happen to notice, 4 lads having the time of their lives, There auras had a magnetic effect on me and I got pulled towards them. Before I knew it I got a bucket shoved in me hands someone telling me: "drink it, drink it mate" so me head dissapeared into the bucket and for all I know hasn't come out yet.

This is an outrageous request made by a common member who has no right to request it politely or otherwise.
If you have no stamina for a logical debate why do you bother reading it or even commenting on it?
My behaviour is speckles, and you should try to learn from it rather than spout ridiculous requests.
You are antagonising me by your post and it is against the rules of this forum, and I do not think that your loyalty as a fan to Larian studios is any better than my loyalty.
Please control your emotions and behave yourself.

Ok, it seems that there is coming no progress in solving this "war" that is going on. But solve it in one way or another. But it is not gonna help to shout at other people. I mean when i joined this forum, i really loved the atmosphere that was here, everybody was nice to each other, everybody helped each other, at every question on the forum was given an answer no matter how stupid the qusetion may have been.
But things have changed, now are a lot of posts very agressive.It's easy to shout at other people on a forum or other ways that uses the internet, you think: "The do not know who i am" and stuff like that.But just use the forum for the way that it is meant to be, to help the people that need help, and to amuse yourself.
I just hope that this "war" stops soon, very soon.


So if i hurted someones feelings on this forum or even somewhere else, I am truly sorry to that person, I didn't want to hurt his/her feelings.

The offenders are playing in a safe environment, similar to saving and loading in a game.

I like the Divinity game and I am a fan of Larian Studios whether the offenders like it or not.
Those who prefer to have fun only may go to circus or a movie or even make a party, but this is an RPG fan site forum and I am a fan and I am using my rights.
