(Note: Asked permission to Lynn if I could post this and she said it was ok )

As this is an rpg forum, I thought this may be a good place to ask for people wanting to play in an online PnP (pen and paper) game. We currently have openings for players in two games. Both games are using Dungeons and Dragons ruleset (DnD, 3rd edition).

Beginners to experienced players are welcome. We will help those who are new to DnD pen and paper online games with creating their characters and getting worked into the game. So even if you don't know much (or anything) about the setting, don't worry.

These are the two games:

Tamriel (link leads to the information thread, the actual game isn't visible until you sign up, but the information should give you enough to see if you're interested or not).
This storyline is based on the Elder Scrolls setting (such games as: Arena, Daggerfall, Redguard, Battlespire & Morrowind). The game has already begun but still need more players, especially female characters.

Menzoberranzan (link leads to the actual game forum, since it hasn't started yet, all the threads there are informational).
This game is based on Menzoberranan, the famous Drow/dark elf city in the Underdark, in the Forgotten Realms setting. This game hasn't started yet and is very open to new players.

If you need more information, feel free to PM me, or post in here, or pay a visit to the site.

You've definately got my interest! I don't know how time zones will affect things, but I'm willing to give it a go if it's possible.

Time zones are of no importance.

People can post any time they have time heh. This does mean that sometimes you'll fall a little behind, so it is handy to get an idea of how often you can post. The very bare minimum would be 2-3 times per week, the optimum once per day. Some people post more, but usually that's interaction with the rest, which gives more XP, but isn't necessairy.

So far, in the tamriel game, about 2 people are in the Euro time zone, the rest in the US time zone, both managing fine.

The rulebook isn't needed, there's links on the site where you can find all the needed information (legally btw).

I would just like to update this thread. The Menzoberranzan game is now called Faerun. The DM is expanding the game setting and not just limiting it to the Drow city. This game is very open to players, since it's still being put together at this point. And from the last I heard, the DM will use the 3.5 edition Dungeons and Dragons ruleset.

Update

It's been eons, but since then, Faerûn - you may need to register/log in to view the forum - game has shifted focus again. (This used to be the Menzoberranzan game)

Right now, the Faerûn game has the concept of evil vs good. The players take the role of the evil doers this time, trying to prevent the good guys from succeeding in their constant good-doing. For those interested, drop by and feel free to contact Zaknafein Do'Urden at the forum to get more information about the game.

That is all.

The Faerûn game is still looking for players. It hasn't started yet for those who wonder, though is getting closer to doing so. Just a small bump.
