with forewarning & a grain of salt, lionheart can be played with less anticipation & therefore less disappointment.

yes, this means i got my copy of the game finally.

the premise of lionheart is smaller in scale & the storyline somewhat more immediate(should be anyway) but the gameplay isn't that all disappointing.

the hack & slash factor of lionheart is similar to DD's romp through dark forest & wastelands as well as iona's dungeon(no more dungeon crawl in the future please). yes it does have quests among the H&S 2 make the killings more meaningful & it does! which is a surprise 2 me. & i think larian can do the same kind of thing for RRR & DD2. more meaningful actions for our characters. after all the game's RPG!

another plus for lionheart. the dialogues are great. whenever they are spoken, they're always top quality voice acting. what made the game loses out 2 DD is the background, ambient sound that make the game environment alive. man, u thought a city like barcelona is always noisy as it's naturally filled with people. & it sounds so dead in the game.

another minus 2 lionheart which translates 2 a plus in DD is the music. the lack of soundtracks for most game areas plus the annoying loops(the music stops for no reason & loops & stops somewhere & loops & etc..). & they got a good composer(who did BG2 tracks). why can't they utilise the dude well enough?

let's hope RRR & DD2 will continue 2 have many many memorable soundtracks for us 2 enjoy.

btw, mine's a gift(as always) from a relative who lives in the states. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> so my judgement(which excludes price factor) is incomplete.
