Barta OK i understand. But why did you make two different topics for the same question ?

I bet every word except 'ich' is wrong ^.^ . Sadly I am not too far into studying german] Rargolkl is surprised: despite the fact that this is "Chat (Anything)", most of the posts are in english.

I've had almost seen this coming : There ARE people out there not capable of the English language (even here in Germany ! ) .
is an international game, and we have so far agreed to use English as the smalles common thing we al have or know, but now we have run into the problem of non-English-speaking Forummembers.
Also, we would need moderators capable of - for example italian - because we wouldn't want to post members of other languages rubbish we don't understand.
I think, our belief-system went like this so far :
This is the chat for any language, as far as you can find members of your own language to talk with.
I hope this doesn't sound insulting, but I haven't found a better expression now.

Hmm, but there is chat in German, what's the problem then?
Larian's will not be able to suit everyone. They are doing their best, bringing two languages. Look into any US developer forums - English only.
Ja konechno mogu nachatj zanudstvovatj i trebovatj, pochemu netu foruma na Russkom jazike. (russian).
Voi muidugi oleks küll tore kui saaks ka Eesti keeles foorumis surfata. (estonian)
Let's be loyal, maybe if possibility occures and there will be large demand from lets say French community, Larian will launch french section also.

As long as there are some members who speak more than one language, I don't see any problem. I can translate in russian, french and a BIT of german (tiny bit, that is), Egin can translate in estonian and russian... plus we have Babelfish so you can get the basic idea... Cheers!

I'm sure there are enough ppl who know (more or less) more than one language.
As long as we are able to help eachother... Alrik has a good point. But creating it is something different. We are a small comunity. It's not becouse all other forums are only in English that this forum should be the same. It would be good to beam forth a multi language forum and Larian co. But is the public big enough? And interested enough? Creating Italian forums for one or two Italian speaking members? Creating Spanish forums for one or two Spanish speaking members? ... And so on. I'm all for the idea, as long as it worth it.
fi: Drakonis can post in the Dutch forum. And janggut can too if he wants too. With a little imagination Dutch and Flemish ppl should be able to understand him. I guess he didn't thought of that just becouse we are so used to English.

hey seth, thanks for remembering me. sure speaking in malay may sound interesting but any malaysian that can log on to the internet, register him/her self as a forum member & understand the terms & conditions is very capable of english.

Every Malaysian I know/knew is capable of expressing themselves in English.
I was just sugesting that you have other options. Everyone who knows Dutch and English can understand at least a little malay IMHO.

Tried to post in russian... *sigh* I do not see it possible to speak in french in "Chat (Anything)". There will always be somebody who'll come and say "WTF".

Well it is true what Seth said. I can actually post in the dutch section in my native language and the people can understand me and I understand them. My home language is actually an old part of Dutch. When I dont know a word I ask and so and to my knowledge of their language and vice versa.

Yes, as Death mentioned speaking in another language brings frustration and tention among those, who don't understand, even if topic heading says -for russian dudes in russian-
Btw, in how many languages was released? Was it released in malaysian for example? I am sure, it wasn't in estonian, and I doubt it was in russian. So, no point to start estonian language forum section, as there are no estonians playing div in estonian, and those who play speak, or at least read, english.
