Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks deadly gift skill doesn't work

Hi, all I did a search for this under deadly gift, scorpion & scorpion traps, if I missed it I am sorry. When I click on browse skills then click on deadly gift(3) all I can get to show are spider mines & trail bombs, scorpions don't show up anywhere. I have used scorpions a lot so I know I must be doing it right & yes I do have scorpions in my inventory (10). I ran across scorpion traps which did not stack with the standard version, and were worth a lot more when sold. Maybe these can not be used (I never tried)? Can you buy some traps and see if those ones work? Check with Tingalf (if he has not been arrested yet), Finnigan (in a game started after the 1.34 patch was installed) or possibly Blake or Mpenzak, since they sometimes carry them.

I've had that with al 3 different traps.
But I never used them ...

I am sorry I forgot to tell I have newest patch 1.34or how ever you say it. this bunch of scorpions was seperated from a bunch of 34. I also have a groop of 4 that wont stack with any other, but I didn't know they sold for more I will try to buy some from tinglif any way and see if it works. Hi Raze thanks for your help but I reloaded the saved game so I could buy from Tingalf but after I reloaded the scorpions started to work. it's been some time since i last played DD but i think double-clicking the scorpions in the inventory helps in loading them on to your deadly gifts arsenal.

yes, sometimes they didn't show up, so you click on them in your invintory 2ce and they will come up, I'll try for picture
