Your pirate name is:

Iron Jack Flint

A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you are that person. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

My mom always said I would do well if I ever grew up.

15 months later I'm:

Black Jack Flint

I guess I haven't changed all that much.

I'm Black Jack Cash:

Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. You're musical, and you've got a certain style if not flair. You'll do just fine. Arr!

No I was Calico Morty Rackham:

Often indecisive, you can't even choose a favorite color. You're apt to follow wherever the wind blows you, just like Calico Jack Rackham, your namesake. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate (that's about the only positive thing you can say about me). Arr!

How in the world did I come up with this. Something had to have gone wrong.

Captain Charity Rackham

Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the
one in charge. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham
(pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a
pirate. Arr!

Actually this is a line from an Oliver Twist movie. All the boys are having breakfast or something and they pull a straw to decide who's gonna ask for some more gruel. i never forget the way that little boy Oliver went up to that big pot and asked the guardian : Please sir, can I have some more?

... and for Aussies in the Sydney area, there's a live celebration on Sept. 23rd, hosted by [color:"red"]YAAARRR! - aka [color:"red"]Ye [color:"red"]Auld [color:"red"]Australian [color:"red"]Association of [color:"red"]Rum [color:"red"]Riddled [color:"red"]Rapscallions, "but ye should note that we be reserving the right to be makin' last minute changes depending on the tide and the reported whereabouts of Her Majesty's Navy on the day."

The website also provides a helpful comparison of Geeks vs Pirates, and an instructional video for getting that Pirate-speak down pat.

A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!
