investing in identify skills is worth it as it saves u the trouble of running 2 the person whose willing 2 identify for say lower than mardaneus(though i doubt it). money is not such a big factor as later in the game u'll end up with more than u ever need.

After all the items you found in catacombs are very good (you will see when you indetify them), but also very heavy. It is rather uncomfortable to cary them all for identification. You can choose by indentifying them, which you want to keep and which to sell so you will have a lot of money before you even start. And a disent armor too. If you spent two points in indetify skill now, you will earn one more later in the game and you could identify even items which have charms slots
wherever you are.
