HP does (or at least did a year or so ago) use proprietary motherboards with everything integrated, and spec the power supplies with very little headroom above the original hardware. Anyone who doesn't believe me is more than welcome to try upgrading a mini-tower HP without checking the size/power requirements first. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
