Well, the comsole can be a great benefit or a curse depending on how used. The drain skill trick however does not inolve the console at all, it´s just making use of a glitch.

I personally have Chars where I use the console and others where I don´t.

yeah i have a console character. you know the type, level 100 stats are at max... but that way there is absolutely no enjoyment in gradually building up your character. the weird thing is that in the readme it tells you about the console and where to get a full list of cheats in the cs.

i still think that the drain skill thing is a cheat.

do you know if the House Hlaalu has anything against the thieves guild? i want to be the master of both.

Actually House Hlaalu and the thieves guild get along pretty well!

I know that if you join the house redoran you can get a helm or something, do you get anything if you complete house hlaalu like that?

You get a lot of items for various quests in all houses.

When you compete your Hlaalu stronghold you get an ebony longsword and 5 ebony darts. I personally would consider the items of House Telvanni much better, although they are less worth.

what can you get from house televani?

You can normally only join one house. And the further you climb in the hirerarchy, the better. At a certain time you build you stronghold.

Telavi: tower as in every telvani city fe: sadit mora.
Redorian: aldruhn style house
hlaaruu: balmora style

A Stronghold is a kind of castle; the name already says what's it suggested to be for : A place which is strongly secured for people who often cannot defend themselves.

@Thor: you can get (among others): Aryons Helper, and the ring of equity. These two items are both extremely powerful! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

ok, looked at guide. what stronghold is better? haloou one only gets you one guard! but its easy to get the stronghold, is it a big castle? the pic in the guide doesn't do justice. and the televanni one, is it just a tower? thats it???

You should join the house that suits your character best. Hlaalu is for thieve type characters, Redoran for fighters and Telvanni for mages.
The stronghold are very different. Hlaalu has the most convenient position just river Odai south of Balmora, Redoran stronghold comes with the best merchants in it and telvanni stronghold is just huge and very cool looking.

True, unless you use the Blade's Stronghold Mod - it can be accessed anytime by a recall ring, you can Mage teleport from there, and it has merchants and trainers - and lots of storage room and an extensive library!

Redoran stronghold has the most inhabitants, many of them know how to fight, but neo real guards. Telvanni stronghold has dwemer machines as guards.

If you wnat a real cool stronghold use "island stronghold retreat mod". Just download and follow the instructions in the readme on how to install and to use. If you are not sure ofcourse I will help you in doing this.

i wasn't aware that you could acquire a stronghlod in morrowind, thats pretty cool.

what sword do you think is the best out of trueflame or the hope one? (i cant remeber the name). i think that trueflame looks a bit crap, its too bulky, but i think its better than the other one, what do you think?

Trueflame and Hopesfire are equally good in my opinion. Except for Eltonbrand they are the best one handed swords in the game.
Eltonbrand is an easteregg absolutely nobody can aquire without help. It does massive 60damage, 30 fire damage and increases your attack by 30 on strike! The best weapon in the game. To get it you have to be a Vampire though. Have Goldbrand when playing a vampire and then talk to Sirilonwe about a special quest. Do a quest in Ald´Ruhn for her. return and report. After you have spoken to her drop 11171 gold in one pile and the rest in another on the floor. Pick up the 11171 gold and a message about basketball should pop up.
