I will not download the Mod as I like the game as is,

This is, of course, your choice, and not mine (or anybody else's) to make. However, you may want to at least check out the big mod gathering sites, just to get a sense of what is being offered. I admit that until a few months ago, I had no idea of the depth and variety of MW mods. They run the gamut:

1) Mods that make the game easier in one respect or another.
2) Mods that make the game much tougher in one respect or another.
3) Mods that add a range of "houses" for the player, with each room having various uses.
4) Mods that add new functionality to the game: carpentry, for example.
5) Mods that improve ease-of-use, like those which make gathering herbs possible with a simple click.
6) Mods that make the city and rural landscape more visually appealing, or diverse.
7) Mods that add a variety of sound mixes at hundreds of locations.
8) Mods that add major quest systems.
9) Mods that add new, very detailed cities, complete with new shops and NPCs.
10) Mods that add shops, often with new gear or items that are extremely expensive.
11) Mods that add new races and birthsigns.
12) Mods that add individual NPC dialog to replace all the repetitive, identical NPC dialog now in there.
13)Mods that tweak the game, improving features. For instance, once you rise to the top of a faction or House, that's it: Bethsoft doesn't give you anything for doing so. At least one often-used mod gives specific, well-balanced rewards that differ according to the House or faction you're now leading.

...and so it goes. If you have any interest in reviewing any of this, try here, here, and here.
