Translating names of german bands :

"Einstürzende Neubauten" = "collapsing new buildings"

"Rammstein" = well, that's a bit difficult. I could translating it as "ramming stone", and that translation gets the "feeling" of the name quite good. I once read that the intention of the "ramming stone" was also to create a kind of feeling / image of a stone over which someone could stumble. Also the stones at the connection between street and sidewalk / pavement could be in a way called "rammstein", too, [because a car could ram it, if driven not carefully,] thus imposing another image.
