the preview of Doom3 in PCGameplay said that it is graphically a monster but that the gameplay is almost the same as the original doom, they call it 'a tribute to doom', so not really a lot of new gameplay exp.
I'm going for HL2 anyway.... when I get my new pc which won't be in the next year I think
