Compared to what? There are better toolsets, but there are worse also. Atleast so I've heard as I haven't tried all toolsets that were ever created.
As to graphics, yes it's no Dungeon Siege, but then again it's not that bad in my opinion and there are a whole lot more mods made with NWN then there are made with Dungeon Siege.

You mean that if you don't understand the tools, you can't use it. It's like wishing to be able to use a C compiler without understanding the language. How dear they to bring out tools that require someone to learn how to use them.
and the fact that most of the player-made content is better than the official one is what really, really degrades Bioware.
Yeah right. There is a whole lot of crap made out there. being able to use the tools doesn't make someone capable of creating a decent mod.
NWN wasn't my best gaming experience ever. But it wasn't that bad either.
