thanks people, and NO, I wasn't going through a rough time until a few hours ago, but I tend to look at it from a positive side: I've got another boost of motivation to pick up my studies (DirectX) again and to work even harder to hopefully realize my dream someday

My dream was gamemaker to... still is, I'l keep with webdesign, http://static07.pixelice.be -> personal site in progress... made alot of sites, but that's going offtopic

Nope. Me, for example, I want to model in 3d and maybe (if I get better) draw the artwork. I though also of digital painting but it would be too much, so I'll stick to 3d and paper drawings.

well, it's not modeling, or computer stuff... but i will be a biologist. dream job- working for a non-profit organization protecting endangered species and habitats. hopefully conducting observations and studies in the field, traveling. whee!

Well as leveldesigner modeling comes more and more important, newer games use more and more models than solids. So I've to learn modeling.

I think I need to see A Clockwork Orange, with my sense of humour...
