In his interview at AllRPG the following drew my attention:
AllRPG: Are there any other future projects?
Well, you know that we've announced Divinity 2, but in addition to that all I can say is that we will continue to develop the Divinity Universe ; ) We've also got another very big project in the pipeline, but we are not allowed to talk about it yet...

Hmmm interesting....

Well now it's big too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
But I must have overlooked it then. To be frank these interviews tend to look alot like eachother.

Lar is reading scripts done by Lynn. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

**sorry, those are classified information. we are not allowed to disclose matters pertaining to the security of this company. should u know of any, please let us know, & we will be forced to kill u.**

regarding the fragland interview, the question posed to lar was on any new CRPG projects & is there any consideration on RTS like LED Wars? hopefully not another Lord Of The Rings license.

About the intervieuws.
Didn't you know?
Lar and his team develloped a new technologie for sending intervieuws to gamesites.
it's called "the babbling fields"
all the questions & answers are randomly generated

the engine isn't fully ready yet ,because it's (randomly)leaking secret information out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Hihihi!
But I think Lar just has a list of Q&A on his computer in .txt doc so he pastes the answers from there. Takes less time and everyone's satisfied.

Ok this ISN'T my view, a person named John Anderson (I think thats his name) said something about this.

He said best thing to get public to want a game is give it hype, create a forum and leak few information about the game little by little, people will create so much hype talking about the game like armor, weapons, magic style etc they would create a totally different game then the original idea by the programmers had. We people talk about it and then some visitor would read something and say "Gee wiz this is cool" and want to buy the game. in the end the programmers may take a few simple ideas out of a billion.

He also said they like to be secretive, again to hype to say "we got something up our sleave" but they could be saying "We have no idea what to do next so we bluff"

Personally i just thought i say this (wish i found the address of this ranter) but thats what Adnerson or what ever said its their tactic to get a crowd to buy something.

Donno maybe true or maybe not,

It's all based on assumptions isn't it? I think it's much simpler than that. When a developer thinks he would like to make something work in a specific way, he won't tell upfront what it will do to a large crowd, as he doesn't know if it will work out properly. Once it does work then he can tell what it does, because then he knows for sure.
It would be really unprofessionally to keep on telling things you will be implementing and then turn out to be impossible to do that way. Not only that but he will loose all credibility.

I remember that we had in the Old Forum a discussion about what kind of <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> games we could imagine ... I don't remember much of this anymore, but it seems it was quite an interesting thing for Larian, I believe. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I personally think that if our Larians say they are doing something, they are doing it. No hype. We forum members create plenty of that for them ...For sure!
Not to mention needling them for information constantly! Mslynx, champing at the bit for the demo...
