I guess I am blind again. I just can't find the entrance to the Imp Castle. The Warrior's Guild and Dragon Plate are pretty much the only quests left. I've been running around the Castle for what seems like hours and just can't find any stairs!

The only other quest I've still open (that I can do) is the Treasure Map. Is it worth it? I mean according to what I've read, it's mainly an easter egg. And you need an exact number of gold coins etc. Sounds pretty annoying to me...

I have read something about House of Madness and Wishing Well in this forum. How do I get those quests?

The Larian armor easter egg is actually separate from the treasure map quest. What I mean is, you can assemble the treasure maps and get all the treasure from the cave without having to worry about the 2002 gold, 5 bottles of ale, etc. The Larian armor easter egg is just accessed from the treasure cave, that's how the two quests are connected.

Thank you very much! That was a big help!

I guess I will have to assemble the map after all in that case! I still lack two parts of it - mainly I was just too lazy to search through the whole sewers of Verdistis. And I couldn't find a locked door near to the mines in the dwarven halls yet. But I'll look again!

As to the stairs, at least this time I didn't pass in front of the stairs a dozen times. I was looking at the wrong side all the time! :o

Guess I'll have to visit Iona's dungeon for the third time now!

And I just used the wishing well! Brought me up to level 40! Yay!

There are 2 links to find the 2 pieces of map.
But if you would prefer to find them by yourself, don't open the links !

Sewers of Verdistis

Dwarven Halls

Thanks to Kiya for these maps. It's so easy to answer to the questions !

Well, my main problem right now is that actually I can't really afford to spend so much time on DD. But somehow I can't stop playing before I haven't beaten it... And I've now spent quite a few days with the game and now that I'm getting close to hitting the gong, I'm starting to get impatient.

As I said, I have done nearly all quests. Btw, how do I get in to the king with the dragon plate? I tried placing it on the floor so I could pick it up afterwards but now I've placed it where I can't pick it up anymore! (In other words back to my last save just before I entered the treasure cave... - at least it's only twenty mins of gameplay lost.)
Somehow I didn't have troubles with the letter but with the dragon plate, dragging it into the room just doesn't seem to work.

Other than that, the only quests still open are three that I can't do: the bottle of wine (because I refused to burn the cart and then implicated the merchant before I had the wine quest...), getting a potion for Tibus (because I told him I'd given away the two potions before pickpocketing and getting back the potion and now he just throws me out) and beating the guy in the dwarven bread (I'm a mage, not a warrior and just not strong enough...)

Plus I still want to enter the House of Madness. Mainly out of curiosity! lol

Other than that I'm getting ready to hit the gong. Yay. - Btw, once I turn Divine, which of the Divine skills are worth it?

I surely can understand the time problem. (same here )
But I ment it as a joke. You know... live fast, play slow.
Isn't that a saying?

* I think that you mean that you want to show the dragon armor to the dwarven king.
You don't have to.
Just let the dwarven smith make you a new breastplate with the armor and the heart of the dragon.
Then tell the king about it.

*Did guards take the merchand away?
If you go back to his room the bottle of wine might be on the floor, waiting for you.

*I always kept the barfight till one of my last quests.
As mage you can surely think of 'things' to make you stronger/protect yourself.
(I mostly played as a warrior)

*You can go back to the dungeon to enter the house of madness.

Lira, a mage has intelligence - place restoration potions into the ring before you challenge the brute. Then do so, pick up those potions quickly and bash him up - you can do this with your armour/weapons etc. also, but I thought this was too much of - errhm, cheating - so I just did the potions thingy. I drink about a gallon of Strength potion before entering the ring. The fact I had level 5 Stun helped as well.

Could a Wizard Bless themself and Curse the opponent repeatedly to gain an advantage in the fight? Aura of Guading could help as well.

I can't cast any spells during the fight... And the trick with the potions, sword, etc. seemed like cheating to me - and actually it didn't occur to me! :o
And I already did strike the gong now, so I won't be going back for it!

As for the wine, I did pick up the bottle and Corinna accepted it. (I assume she'll spit out any wine you bring her ) The quest for the wine itself stays unsolved, though (as A-whatever is not there anymore!)

Already managed the thing with the dragon armour and now I have the complete set! Yay! - Funny thing, though. I went back to my last save and redid the treasure quest and then went again to Grisha to get the armour - and it was way worse than my first one. And the more often I reloaded, the worse it seemed to get... In the end I got offered one with no resistances, no enchant, no boni to a skill; just a few minor boni on ability scores and mana! Yuck! Took me something like 10 reloads till I got a proper armour again. It's still not perfect as it has only one place for enchanting but the other boni were quite good!

Thanks for all the tips, everyone! If I ever restart the game, they'll certainly come in handy!

("One for the vine" ...:-] )

It is possible that Corinna took the wine too early.

There was once a glitch with that, she just took the wine without asking and nothing and you had to buy the wine back from her and explicitely give it to her then.

No. The problem isn't Corinna. The problem is the merchant who wants someone to burn the cart. I refused to burn the cart and then implicated him before I had the wine-quest, so I don't think that he's in the Inn anymore. Anyway next time I'll know better!

I also refused to burn the cart, but bought the wine before doing so (it sounded unique and I had all kinds of gold). After he was arrested I tried to store the wine in a chest, but it was gone, mysteriously teleported back to his room. The quest was solved, however.
