No, actually, my sig proves that the person I upset was in a mindless rage and couldn't come up with something that sounds remotely intelligent and resorted to childish name-calling. (Or, at the very least, uncreative name-calling. At which point, the person became very self-righteous.) Besides, I found it ironic that someone who acted like that told me how ignorant I am. I've been through the teenage angst phase, y'know. I, thankfully, emerged from it very quickly, and the phase came at a relatively early age. The fact is, most of the angsting teenagers I've come across
are seeking attention -- and so did I. They churn out all kind of melodramatic pooh-pooh, and usually the reasons they give for wanting to commit suicide are... silly. "I'm smart. I know I shouldn't hurt myself. But I keep hurting other people and so I want to die." Or, "No one understands meeee. Wah! I want to die." Or, "My online boyfriend, whom I've never met in person, dumped me. Wah, wah! I want to die."
