Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General save game is screwed up

i am getting fustrated with the save function in this game. Quicksave absolutly will not work except for the first few minutes when i set it up last month. the regular save function picks the most inconvienent times the most recently saved game will NOT overwrite the game in which i have been killed. in fact at times you have to go back so far that you lose five hours of game play. exactly what is the use of a save game if it leaves you S.O.L..My wife accidently killed a cat in the heat of battle and all cats hate her. she ran out of saves so just continued on.i hope the white cat in the castle does not take offense

Try changing the hotkey for quick save/load; someone else had problems with it, and found that made it more reliable.

What problems are you having with the saves which do not work?

Have you tried backing up your saved games, then un-installing and re-installing Divinity?

Neither the cat in the castle or the one in Aleroth will turn hostile, or even care that other cats have.
