about knightshift, i heard it's quite good though sluggish in certain areas. u can check out http://www.avault.com for reviews.

demos can be quite accurate, depending on the devs & time. look at DD's demo which some people diss very badly. but the actual game is great.

IGN also has reviewed the game.
