I have 1000 gold, apart from my 'actual' gold that is, that appears to be completely useless. Is it a plot item? (I was thinking maybe it's part of the garden quest or something - I was supposed to share my wealth with the common folk or whatever, but I don't know how) If I drop all my gold except for that pile of 1000, merchants don't acknowledge that I have any gold at all.
