This game is simply wonderfull,but it still has some fun killing bugs.
Lately I tried playing as a summoner,when after using the "aura of command",
I got this illegal operation;"DIV caused an invalid page fault in module
DIV.exe at 017f:0041f733."From then on everytime I use this aura one of two
things immediately happens:the game freezes or I get the same page fault.
I did a search on this forum and found a suggestion from the lovely Kiya,helpfull as always,that this was caused by a corrupted scorpion and
I should go back to an earlier save.I did just that and it worked ...for a
while.Then the same thing happened although I took care not to use any more
scorpions.So I fear scorpions are not the problem.I then tried a general advise
from Raze to delete the contents of the dynamic file:the aura worked again ...
for a while,then suddenly:freeze or crash again.I gave up,everything works fine
as long as I don't use "aura of command",but it is a pity because it was fun to use. Would a reinstall fix this?Any ideas are welcome.
My specs:Pentium 4,geforce 4,audigy 2,win98SE,patch 1.33.
