You question was a little unclear, and I thought it more likely you meant released after renamed. It would have been more obvious if you'd said '...but like a little after that they renamed it'.
Anyway, it would be difficult to rename a game after release, since the CDs and packaging would all have to be redone, and then you would have different versions in stores, etc.
