just a simple question from a newby. i dowloaded the patch a few weeks ago and it installed in under 10 seconds. its a big patch and i had expected it to take a little longer. anyone got any ideas
hmm. I think mine went that quick too, it should still work. did it not work? try installing it again <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
If you have Windows XP, are you installing it from an account with administrative privileges? When you start the game, the version is shown in the bottom right hand corner (it should be 1.0034 with the patch installed).
