Hi everyone and thanks.
I keep teleporting outside to the entrance of the cave. On one attempt I unloaded everything from inventory except the ropes, ale, breastplate and gold. I checked "statistics" to ensure that it registered 2002 gold only. Still didn't work.
This is my third run on this game. I've also had problems with getting the Dwarf King to talk about the dragon armour though I've finished the Axe of Stone Quest.
