I didn't complain because I've had disabled the display of all signatures in my profile almost since the beginning. For the very reason that people tend to abuse them so much.
I've just enabled them again to see how everything looks.. Oh boy! This is sick! What do people want with signatures that have colored text, too much text, images, animated images or too large images in it?! Images in signatures are SPAM! Large images are even more SPAM!
Personalization? Really, a fairly sized personal avatar is not enough for that?
It really hurts the reading pleasure. In my opinion colors or images in signatures should be forbidden, just like in the old forum. Or they could be disabled altogether by default, though that might be a bit drastic.
