I am 25 and have been playing games for the last 14 years. I’ve played a HELL of a lot of games in that time, and I must admit to being taken completely by surprise by the awesome gaming experience that has been Divine Divinity. I don’t rave about games very often, but this one deserves special mention simply because of how incredible it is in every aspect imaginable – complicated, interesting storyline, memorable characters, plentiful monsters, amazing character development options that drastically change play style depending on choices the player makes, beautiful, sumptuous graphics that have had my jaw on the ground for the last two weeks, and a beautiful soundtrack that matches the game’s atmosphere perfectly. I bought Max Payne 2 shortly after I bought Divine Divinity, and of the two, it’s DD I can’t put down. I am blown away!
All I can say is WOW, you guys have done a spectacular job with this game, your attention to detail is nothing short of godly, your concept of what makes a game fun, interesting, enjoyable and HIGHLY playable, not to mention addictive deserves to be credited with every award that the industry has to offer. If they only award you for your excellent music, then they’ve got their heads up their Xboxes.
You guys are AWESOME, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this absolute sublime masterpiece!! This game I’ll be playing for a LONG LONG time!
